What is LOVE? Some say love is….
1. A deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, such as that arising from kinship, recognition of attractive qualities, or a sense of underlying oneness.
2. A feeling of intense desire and attraction toward a person with whom one is disposed to make a pair; the emotion of sex and romance.
3. An intense emotional attachment, as for a pet or treasured object.
4. A person who is the object of deep or intense affection or attraction; beloved. Often used as a term of endearment.
5. An expression of one's affection.
When it comes to love, people cannot give a consistent answer if you ask him or her what does love really means. All I can say is love truly is indescribable.
They say love is an act of will, not of the heart. Do you believe in that? Part of me believes on the statement. Why? It is because when you love, our heart does not work alone. It needs our mind for us to enable to feel love. When you love a person, you look at his or her different sides. And before loving him or her, your mind is in deciding process if he or she is deserving of your love. After you have realized that he or she deserves on your love, there is now the will of loving.
I think that when you love, you really have to prove to him or her that you are sincere. We should do something to show to that someone or person how great our love is. Loving someone must be your will, and not merely because your heart says so. We cannot show how we deeply love that somebody if we are not going to show it. Love should be shown in the acts that we do and not up to words only. In short, it is not the heart that loves but the willingness within you. The willingness of our minds is done in order for us to love.
